This time can be stressful and frustrating, or as I realized after switching clinics, soothing and supportive. This improved experience was eye-opening for me, and I applied it to my budding idea for MyVitro. Could I help make the experience of fertility treatments a little bit easier?

During fertility treatments you spend a lot of time at your clinic. You have blood tests, follicle monitoring and meetings with your doctor and nursing team every several days (or some of us every day).

This time spent at your clinic can be stressful and frustrating, or as I realized after switching clinics, soothing and supportive. Our second clinic, RGI, put my experience as a top priority. Not only was it an easier journey through IVF, but it opened my mind to the idea that as fertility patients, going through treatment doesn’t have to be a universally negative experience.

That there are things that can make it easier.

At RGI, they had a lovely waiting room, with a television gently distracting me as I waited. This might seem like a minor thing, but my anxiety was already through the roof, so a calming waiting room was an oasis. Wait times were always short, and blood draws were done on-site. Injection training was done one-on-one with a nurse, so that I felt equipped to start my specific protocol. My REI, Dr. Jain, did almost every single one of my monitoring appointments and called me personally with results.
 
This improved experience was eye-opening for me, and I applied it to my budding idea for MyVitro. Could I help make the experience of fertility treatments a little bit easier? Our line of IUI and IVF organizers and accessories aims to do just that.
 
After launching our Fertility Caddy I was thrilled to share it with Dr. Jain at RGI, and was so pleased at how receptive he and the entire Patient Care team were to our products. They continue to improve the patient experience in ever-evolving ways. I am so appreciative of my time in their care, and the impact it had on our business.
